flowers

This weekend I have mostly been making these flower brooch thingies. I learnt the technique from a workshop at Fabrications a while back and now I think i’m addicted.

good as new

I went to see this film yesterday.
That, and the fact I’m moving house (again) has got me feeling quite Wombleish about the things that everyday folk leave behind. I mean, there’s just so much of it.

When you’re faced with packing up all your stuff you really realise how much stuff you consume, collect and waste.

So I thought that Greetje van Helmond’s sugar jewellery was pretty cool. Beautiful, temporary and sustainable – a bit of great design.

Sooper

I’m totally in love with these rings from fellow Etsyer and Londoner soop.

Brilliant!

Good thing I discovered them on pay day…
